The Dove: A tribute to Bergman!

By DearCinema Desk • Aug 2nd, 2007 • Filed under: Short Films, Videos

No doubt Ingmar Berman would inspire generations of filmmakers but the way he inspired George Coe and Anthony Lover is funny and memorable. The duo made a short film “The Dove” in 1968, that’s a real funny tribute to Bergman. Look for references to “Wild Strawberries,” “Seventh Seal” and “Smiles of a Summer Night” and have a good laugh.
