Bollywood film reviews

Deepak Jeswal reviews Namastey London posted at Random Expressions, saying, “Clearly, the film is not meant to be taken seriously, and I am sure Vipul Shah would be embarrassingly shocked if he receives an esoteric review or if someone tries to find subtle meanings and hidden sub-texts in his film. There is no need to exert your gray-cells, for that is not Shah’s purpose.”

He also reviews Just Married posted at Random Expressions, he says “In the recent past there have been several films on marriage and couples, and Just Married is easily the best amongst them!”

Beth Watkins had a fun time watching 1971 Shashi Kapoor and Rakhi starrer Sharmeelee posted at Beth Loves Bollywood. Though he is left with many questions after watching the film

Bollywood opinion
Deepak Jeswal also pays his tributes to Hrishikesh Mukherjee at Hrishikesh Mukherjee : A Tribute posted at Random Expressions. saying, “Hrishikesh Mukherjee created an enviable niche for his himself. Simplicity was the key word. Strong storylines another. His comedies are best loved and they cant be surpassed ever! That’s more so because he took everyday situations and created a laugh riot of gargatuan proportions.”

Arvind Devalia presents Arvind Devalia » Big Brother & Small Sister - lessons about racial unity posted at Arvind Devalia. He thinks Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty’s participation in the UK reality show Big Brother “has brought to public debate key issues about racism in Britain today.”

Sakshi watched Bebo’s interview on The Coffee with Karan and found her stating an obvious truth about John. She presents Expressionless John Abraham posted at To Each Its Own, saying, “while the likes of Anurag Kashyap, Deepa Mehta, Bipasha Basu and Sudhir Mishra continue to make statements defending expressionless John, I say its better that he proves himself with his work and do the do”

Well, it’s not only the Bollywood that seems to be having a gala time, even Punjabi cinema seems to be making waves. Mad Munky presents Punjabi Cinema Rises Again posted at Munky Goes To Bollywood

Vedavyasa lets out the secret of his love for Bollywood 10 things I Like about Bollywood posted at Ved’s 70MM-Movies, TV & Entertainment. He doesn’t even spare the so called film critics “You have excellent film critics who come on TV before the movie and give detailed angles, underlying meanings that the director never thought of and will tell you what you will like.”
