Two Indian films have been selected to receive funding from prestigious Pusan International Film Festival. Pusan International Film Festival which is held every year in South Korea is considered to be one of the biggest in the continent. Pusan is especially known for supporting Independent Asian filmmakers.
Delhi based filmmaker Jahar Kanungo's second feature film "Half Truth" has been chosen for Independent Feature Script and Project Development Fund. Jahar's first film "Nisshabd" (Rising Silence) was adjudged best feature film at the 8th Osian Cinefan Festival of Asian Cinema, new Delhi.
Jahar's project was selected on the merit of synopsis that he will develop into a feature film script.

Shera's film "Ocean of the Old man" narrates the story of a school teacher in Andaman Islands. The school is situated on a small island where students from nearby islands come to study. However, everything changes after Tsunami strikes the island. After the disaster, school is rebuilt and all the students come back to the island except five. The film narrates the journey of the teacher who goes to nearby islands in search of his missing students.
