YRF ties up with Japan’s Nikkatsu Corp, “Ek Tha Tiger” releases in Tokyo

Ek tha tigerYash Raj Films has tied up with Japan’s oldest movie studio and entertainment company Nikkatsu Corporation to release films from YRF stable in Japan.

The first film to premiere in Tokyo on March 7 after the partnership is Ek Tha Tiger, directed by Kabir Khan, starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif.

This will be followed by Yash Chopra’s Jab Tak Hai Jaan, starring Shahrukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma releasing later this summer.

Founded in 1912, Nikkatsu Corporation is credited with bringing acclaimed international films like Roman Polanski’s The Ghost Writer and Darren Aronofsky’s The Wrestler to Japan.
