Gangs of Wasseypur to open and Midnight’s Children to close IFFLA 2013

posterAnurag Kashyap’s Gangs of Wasseypur will make its Los Angeles premiere as the opening film of the Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles (IFFLA). Gangs of Wasseypur I will be screened on the opening night and its sequel will be screened the following evening.

The festival will close with a screening of Deepa Mehta’s Midnight’s Children,  adapted from Salman Rushdie’s novel of the same name.

Full line up of the festival will be announced in mid-March.

Celebrating its 11th year, IFFLA will run from April 9 to 14 at ArcLight Hollywood in Los Angeles.
