Gabhricha Paus wins Grand Jury Prize at Vesoul International Film Festival news
Gabhricha Paus directed by Satish Manwar won the Grand Jury Prize( International Jury) for Direction at the Vesoul International Film Festival of Asian films. It was also honoured with the Best Film Award by the Oriental Jury of the festival. The international Jury was headed by Chinese film maker Wan- Jane.
Gabricha Paus is the first Marathi film to win an award in this festival. It is also the second Indian film after Girish Kasarvalli’s Gulabi Talkis to win the Oriental Language Award in Vesoul. The international Jury cited "maturity and restraint of this impressive debut" as the reason for the Grand Jury Prize.
