BAFTA foreign Category Nominations Out news
Swedish Vampire drama “Let the right one in” has been nominated for BAFTA awards in the foreign language category along with Broken Embraces, Coco Before Chanel, A Prophet and The White Ribbon.
Nominees in the other categories will be announced on January 21, while the awards ceremony will take place on Sunday 21 February at the Royal Opera House in London’s Covent Garden.
BAFTA awards are given every year by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts.
Austrian filmmaker Michael Haneke’s “The White Ribbon” had won Palme d’Or at Cannes last year, while French director Jacques Audiard’s “A Prophet” had received Grand Prix at the festival.
