Allah is Great by Andrea Iannetta is part of the official International Short Competition. It revolves around Frank Asmas, a Danish engineer who meets Salim, a taxi driver, when he is on his way out of a remote Indian village to Nairobi. The film won a Special Jury award at the 60th National awards announced recently.

Calcutta Taxi (India-Canada) by Vikram Dasgupta will be screened in Intersections section. The film is set against the grimy backdrop of a city going through a political crisis and unravels the story of three lives that coincide and affect each other.
