Miss Lovely, Shanghai to screen at Copenhagen

The Reluctant Fundamentalist, Miss Lovely and Shanghai have been selected to screen in the 5th edition of the CPH PIX Film Festival. The festival is to be held from April 11-24, 2013 in Copenhagen.

Mira Nair’s The Reluctant Fundamentalist, an India – Pakistan – US production, will screen under the Pix Specials Section dedicated to the best films of the year.

Dibakar Banerjee’s Shanghai will screen in the Politikens Publikumspris section. The section will present 10 films from across the world. The audience will award the best of these with the Politiken’s Audience Award.

Ashim Ahluwalia’s Miss Lovely is one among the Asian Connection films. The Section will host films from Phillipines, Japan, Hong Kong, China and South Korea.

CPH PIX is an annual film festival established after the merger of the Copenhagen International Film Festival and the NatFilm Festival to form the Copenhagen Film Festivals in 2008 that also organize CPH DOX, a documentary film festival and Buster Film Festival for children and young people.
