Shashi Kapoor really deserves this. He
Shashi Kapoor really deserves this. He has acted, as mentioned in many crossover films such as "Heat and Dust," and not to mention other films like "Siddhartha."
Recently watching some old films such as "Aamne Samne", "Junoon," "Bombay Talkie," "Waqt," "Kabhi Kabhie," "Suhana Safar," "Aa Gale Lag Jaa," "Sharmilee," "Satyam Shivam Sunderam" and "Jab Jab Phool Khile," " Kalyug," and "Trishul," made me think how talented Shashi Kapoor is - not to mention the few films that he directed.
Glad to know that he has finally been rewarded with this honour.

Himanshu, I would totally agree with
Himanshu, I would totally agree with you. One of his first films that I remember watching was "Bombay Talkie" and "Shakespearewalla" and those I really enjoyed. I remember, many years back, as a child, I was in Nairobi, Kenya, and Shashi Kapoor and Sharmila Tagore were there filming for a film entitled, "My Love," alot of us tried to go to the sites where they were filming but for some unknown reasons, we failed and I was not in a good mood as Shashi Kapoor was, and still is, one of my favourite actors.
