International Film Fests in 3 Maharashtra Towns news
As part of the golden jubilee celebrations, Federation of films society of India (FFSI) is organizing 5 day long International Film Festivals in three Maharashtra towns: Kolhapur , Nagpur and Solpaur. The festival is titled Nano International Film Festval.
Baburao Painter Film society in Kolhapur will host the festival between 3-9 June 09, while Nirzar Film Society in Nagpur will play the host between 15-20 July 09. Festival will be organized at Srujan Film Society, Solapur from 15-20 August 09.
Indian world cinema distributor, NDTV Lumere is the content provider for the festival that will provide ten titles from different countries.
Annoucing the festivals FFSI General Secretary Sudhir Nandgaonkar said, "FFSI aims to take world cinema beyond big cities and introduce small town audiences to cinema from different parts of the world through this initiative."
