Dharmendra, Gulzar, Rishi Kapoor to be honoured during Mumabi Film Fest

Bollywood veteran Dharmendra will be awarded lifetime achievement award by the Mumbai Academy of the Moving Image (MAMI) during upcoming 10th International Film Festival of Mumbai, while Rishi Kapoor will receive award for significant contribution to cinema.

Noted lyricist Gulzar will be given the award for the outstanding contribution to film music and sound recordist Hitendra Ghosh will be awarded with Kodak award for technical excellence.

Legendary Bollywood actor Dev Anand will preside over award ceremony on March 13 at Imax Adlabs theatre in Mumbai.

10th Mumbai International Film Festival is scheduled for a gala opening on March 6 with Polish direct Andrej Wajda’s Oscar nominated film Katyn.

MAMI will also honour Spanish director Carlos Saura with International Lifetime Achievement Award. Saura will attend the award ceremony.
