DearCinemaFest: Black Button article
Today we've a very special film on DearCinemaFest. Lucas Crandles's Black Button deals with the eternal question of heaven and hell. A gripping and exciting film, brilliantly executed.
Here's the director's brief introduction to Black Button:
Mr Roberts finds himself awoken inexplicably in a white room. A man sits before him at a desk and in between them stands a black button. If Mr Roberts pushes it, he will receive a briefcase filled with millions of dollars. Or he can take the key to the door and leave penniless. The catch? Pushing the button will result in the death of a human being. What would you do?
Enjoy the film and don't forget to leave your comments and rate it.

Great film, but I'm curious, is the actor Hayden half-Jewish ? I know his dad is the guy in the chair and he is English, but the son Hayden barely looks English whatsoever. Im curious what the other half of his ethnicity is. To me he looks part Jewish.

Hey all,
Thanks heaps for the comments! In answer to a few of them:
- The button is a little flimsy, but welcome to the world of low-budget filmmaking!
- Hayden is indeed half Jewish, on his mother's side.
Keep an eye out on our website for our next film. Thanks again!

i really liked it...
i just hope i would have taken the key.. :)
Yeh it was pretty good, but - and I
Yeh it was pretty good, but - and I know the director has already said something about this - it is basically the same as that Twilight Zone episode, the story that was based on and the forthcoming film based on that... The director seems to think that the story, the episode and the film are all different but the latter two are based on the original story... Although it wasn't set in a white room, and there were some very slight tweaks to it, it is basically the exact same thing no matter what you say... 8/10 for effort, 0/10 for originality... Sorry.
