La Fémis film institute in Paris invites applications for summer class

The French Embassy in India is inviting applications for the summer class on documentary filmmaking at the La Fémis film institute in Paris to be held from 30th May to 27th July 2012.

As French will be the medium of teaching, working and communications, participants must be good in French.

The deadline for application is March 16, 2012. This initiative will be fully sponsored by the French Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs.

The participants will get a chance to meet French documentary filmmakers, analyze and discuss their films and develop and shoot their own documentary film.

The selections will be made by the Cultural Services of the French Embassies and La Fémis. Application forms are available at the Cultural services of the French Embassies.
