Call for Entry: Film Bazaar co-production market, Goa 2012
Film Bazaar calls you to be a part of the annual Co-Production Market from November 21-24, 2012, concurrent to the International Film Festival of India. At least 25 filmmakers with south Asian stories can get their projects financed from the international film community. Last date for submission is August 31, 2012.
Applicants need to have 25% of their finance in place and a complete script ready in hand. The project could be in development, pre-production or production stage. For more details on the eligibility, conditions, document submissions and to apply see here.
There is an entry fee of INR 2000.
Best Project idea will receive The Incredible India award with rupees 10 lakh extended by the Ministry of Tourism.
Four selected projects will be sent to the Producer’s Lab, Rotterdam, while one project will be hosted by the Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF).
Another two chosen projects will be taken to the No Borders International Co-production Market where the Independent Film Project (IFP) helps them meet industry representatives from the United States.
Some of the projects that have participated in previous editions of Film Bazaar are: Dibakar Banerjee’s Shanghai, Love Sex aur Dhoka and Shanghai, Onir’ I Am, Umesh Kulkarni’s Deool and Ashim Ahluwalia’s Miss Lovely.
