Call for Entry: Dimensions Mumbai short film competition

Dimensions Mumbai, a short film competition of the Mumbai Film Festival, organized by MAMI (Mumbai Academy of Moving Image) invites young Mumbaikars below the age of 25 years, to showcase their talent. Participants are required to create short films of maximum five minutes based on the theme ‘Essence of Mumbai’ in any format.

The festival is looking for short films that paint a portrait of MUMBAI and its diverse people.

The Best Film will win the Silver Gateway trophy and cash prize of Rs. One Lakh (Rs. 1,00,000/-) for the Director(s). The second Best Film will win the Silver Gateway trophy and cash prize of Rs. 50,000/- for the Director(s).

The deadline for submissions is August 31, 2012.

The Mumbai Film Festival, organized by MAMI and an initiative by Reliance Entertainment, will be held from the 18th -25th of October, 2012.
