Call for Entry: 25th Tokyo International Film Festival

The 25th Tokyo International Film Festival is calling for entries. The last date for submissions is July 13, 2012.

Film must be completed after January 1, 2012 and must have its Asian Premiere at the festival. Feature films (including animation) running over 60 minutes are eligible for competition.

Tokyo Sakura Grand Prix of 50,000 USD will be given to the producer and the director of the winning film.

There is a Special Jury Prize comprising 20,000 USD. Other awards at the festival are: Award for Best Director (cash prize of 5,000 USD), Award for Best Actress (cash prize of 5,000 USD), Award for Best Actor (cash prize of 5,000 USD) and Award for Best Artistic Contribution (Photography, Sound, Art Direction, Music, Script etc.) comprising cash prize of 5,000 USD.

Entry Form must be submitted through Festival’s website: http://www.tiff-jp.net.

The festival will be held from October 20-28, 2012.
