About Bikas Mishra
Bikas is the founder and editor-in-chief of DearCinema.com.
Bikas was a part of the selection committee of the 10th Mumbai International Film Festival, organized by the Mumbai Academy of Moving Image (MAMI), a body comprising of representatives of Mumbai Film Industry led by noted filmmaker Shyam Benegal.
He is also a part of the selection committee of the 7th Third Eye Festival of Asian Cinema, organized by Asian Film Foundation, Mumbai.
Bikas has interviewed renowned international directors such as Márta Mészáros, Carlos Saura, Shyam Benegal and Mehreen Jabbar to name a few.
He contributes film reviews and articles to leading Indian publications such as Mint-The Wall Street Journal and NDTV.com.
Bikas is a member of Fédération Internationale de la Presse Cinématographique (FIPRESCI) also known as The International Federation of Film Critics.
