UTV to produce Delhi Belly writer’s directorial debut

Akshat Verma, who came into limelight after the success of Delhi Belly which he wrote, will have UTV Motion Pictures as the producer of his first directorial venture. The film which will be a comic thriller is being penned by Verma himself.

Delhi Belly was produced by Aamir Khan Productions and UTV Motion Pictures.

Siddharth Roy Kapur, CEO, UTV Motion Picture said, ““As a studio, we have always believed in backing upcoming talent who have the potential to bring entertaining cinema to audiences. The fantastic script written by Akshat was undoubtedly one of the key reasons behind the success of Delhi Belly and judging by his concept and vision, we believe he’ll write and direct a superb film”
