Trishna, Valley of Saints at 33rd Durban International Film Festival

Michael Winterbottom’s Trishna (UK) starring Freida Pinto and Riz Ahmed will screen in Global Cinema section at the 33rd Durban International Film Festival.

Bitter Seeds (India-US) directed by Micha X. Peled will be screened in Eco Lens section. The film looks at the impact of multinational GM corporations on small farmers in india.

Valley of Saints (directed by Musa Syeed) will also be screened in the same section.

The festival will be held from July 19-29, 2012. It will screen over 290 films in 10 venues across the city.
