Superstar Rajesh Khanna passes away

Actor Rajesh Khanna, referred to as the “First Superstar” of Hindi cinema passed away on Wednesday, July 18. He had been ailing for some time and was discharged from Lilavati hospital two days ago.

He is survived by his estranged wife Dimple Kapadia and daughters Twinkle and Rinke.

Khanna made his debut in 1966 with Aakhri Khat and rose to stardom with films like Raaz, Baharon Ke Sapne, Ittefaq and Aradhana.
