South Asian Film fest, New York from Oct 27- Nov 2

South Asian International Film festival (SAIFF) has announced the dates for 2010 festival. The seventh edition of the festival will run in New York from October 27-November 2. This year s festival will showcase the best work of both new and established filmmakers while highlighting the recent explosion of talent and theme in South Asian cinema.


SAIFF was founded in New York City due to the lack of support for many emerging filmmakers and the overall underrepresentation of Indian cinema in a capital that is recognized by the world as the birthplace of independent filmmaking! The Festival is committed to exhibiting films from South Asia (i.e India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Nepal) and within the Indian Diaspora.
