The uncertainty about the 2012 edition of Rome Film Festival has been cleared. The festival will be held from November 9-17, 2012, as decided in a board meeting on Wednesday.

Marco Mueller has been confirmed as the new artistic director of the festival with a three-year contract.

DearCinema had reported last week that renowned Italian filmmakers had appealed to the politicians and administrators to close Müller’s contract.
