Registrations open for Mumbai Film Mart 2011

Registrations are open for the third edition of the Film Business Centre at the Mumbai International Film Festival (MAMI) which has been renamed as the Mumbai Film Mart.

It will be held from October 15-17, 2011 with an objective to facilitate meetings of international and Indian film buyers and sellers.

“Special efforts will be made to facilitate meetings for Producers and independent filmmakers with films ‘in production’ or recently completed projects,” as stated on the official website of the festival.

Mumbai Film Mart will be located adjoining the MAMI 2011 screenings at Cinemax, (Infinity Mall), Andheri. Besides the meeting lounge, there will be booths for the Industry Associations, individual promoters and DVD screenings, an information and message desk, free wi-fi, display stands, networking cocktails and other industry events.

Applications are being accepted online at www.mumbaifilmfest.com for the Mumbai Film Mart. There is a fee of Rs. 700; a 25% concession can be availed on registration on or before September 25, 2011.
