Osian’s Cinefan 2012 to host Horror Masterclass with Dracula writer James Hart

The 12th Osian’s Cinefan will host a Masterclass on Horror with American screenwriter and author James Hart.

Hart wrote the 2005 children’s novel ‘Capt. Hook: The Adventures of a Notorious Youth’. He wrote the screenplay for Steven Spielberg’s Hook (1991) and Francis Ford Coppola’s Dracula (1992). He also wrote the story for Frankenstein (1994).

The masterclass will be held on August 2 at 4:30 pm.

Priit Tender will conduct two masterclasses on Animation on July 29 and July 31. Tender has made award-winning animation films Gravitation (1996), The Crow and the Mice (1998), Viola (1999) and Mont Blanc (2001).

Samir Farid, film critic and author based in Cairo will give a lecture on July 28. Farid has authored several books on cinema. He is the consultant for Cinema affairs in the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, library and cultural center in the Egyptian city of Alexandria.
