Miss Lovely, Ship of Theseus selected for Rotterdam 2013
Ashim Ahluwalia’s Miss Lovely has been selected for Spectrum section of International Film Festival Rotterdam 2013.
Spectrum shows new and recent feature-length work by experienced film makers and artists who provide, in the opinion of IFFR, an essential contribution to international film culture.
Miss Lovely had its World Premiere at the Un Certain Regard section in Cannes film festival 2012. It is a tale of two brothers making sleazy horror films in Bombay’s “C” grade film industry.
Anand Gandhi’s Ship of Theseus will be screened in Bright Future section at Rotterdam. This section presents idiosyncratic and adventurous new work by novice makers. The film had its World Premiere at Toronto.
The 42nd edition of the International Film Festival Rotterdam will be held from 23 January – 3 February 2013.
