Green Screen Lab: Diary 5

By Soumendra Padhi • Published on August 16, 2012

[D]ebate, discuss, be challenged, evolve. Those were the words in my mind when I came for the Green Screen Lab and still are.

Before coming to the Lab I was so sure about the story I wanted to tell. I still am. It’s just that I have discovered newer platforms and spaces to tell them better.

What seemed so exciting yesterday has been already trashed today and this process will continue till my team members and I find out newer and exciting ways to tell them.

What a place to be in, where ideas are not thrust on you. But you are helped enough to discover them yourself.

A team of writers, mentors, actors, directors, national award winning documentary filmmakers, with great bodies of work sharing a common vision towards good cinema.

Only four days into the lab and I have found colleagues with whom I know I will associate further to do exciting work.

KIIT, Odisha has been a wonderful host and I really wish to thank Green Screen team for bringing out such an initiative with the motive of taking the children’s cinema movement forward.
