Dekh Indian Circus wins Audience award at Busan

Dekh Indian Circus, directed by Mangesh Hadawale picked up the Audience Choice award at the 16th Busan International Film Festival which concluded recently.

The film had its World Premiere at the New Currents section in the festival. It is a story of maternal devotion despite harsh reality of poverty.

The Sonje Award for Short Films went to Thug Beram directed by Venkat Amudhan.

The 16th Busan International Film Festival was held from October 6-14, 2011.
