Call for entry: Taiwan International Children’s Film Festival
Taiwan International Children’s Film Festival (TICFF) is calling for entries. Submissions will be accepted for the festival by October 31, 2011.
TICFF is held biennially, with its 5th edition scheduled for April 2012 in Taipei.
All entries must be suitable for children 12 and under, and production must be completed and copyrighted after August 2009. There is no entry fee for the festival.
The festival will give away USD 28,000 in prize money. There will be categories like “Best Dramatic Feature or Short”, “Best Documentary”, “Best Animation” and “Best Television Program”. There will be a few new categories including “Taiwan Award” which is intended to encourage film and TV program makers in Taiwan to produce more and better films for children.
The festival was founded by Public Television Service (PTS) in 2004.
