3rd International Children’s Film Festival in April, entries open

The 3rd International Children’s Film Festival will be held from April 5-11, 2011 in Lucknow. Entries are open for the festival that is being organized by City Montessori School.

The festival will have various sections such as World Competition, Children’s Feature Films, Animation features, World Competition for Animation Shorts and Indian Section. Awards will be given in all these categories.

The second International Children’s Film Festival received 223 entries from 38 countries viz. Poland, France, Australia, Germany, Switzerland, Norway, Sweden, Spain, UK and USA. The jury members comprised of Vladislava Vojnovic, a film critic & screenwriter from Serbia, Shaji N. Karun, filmmaker, P. R. Ramadasa Naidu, filmmaker and writer and Toshifumi Matsushita, Japanese independent documentary and TV producer.

City Montessori School through this film festival aims to provide children healthy cinema viewing habits.
