Jean-Michel Frodon
Editor-in-Chief, Cahiers du cinéma
Noted French film critic and author of numerous books on cinema, Jean-Michel Frodon started his career as a critic with Le Point 1983. He started working with Le Monde in 1990 and was made in charge of daily film column in 1995. He took over charge of the iconic French film journal Cahiers du cinéma in 2003 as the chief editor.
Cahiers du cinema is an iconic film journal that has an important place in the history of cinema. Started by the legendary film theorist Andre Bazin, Cahiers is known for its fiery yet critical articles on so called equality French cinema in fifties. Many founders of French New wave including Francois Truffaut and Jean Luc Godard started their career with Cahiers as critics.
Nick James
Editor, Sight & Sound
Nick James is the editor of Sight & Sound, the British Film Institute's critical magazine. A former rock musician, he found a second career in film journalism at the London listings magazine City Limits. He has been editor of Sight & Sound since 1997, and is the author of Heat, a book in the BFI's Modern Classics series on Michael Manne's film.
Paul Schrader
Scriptwriter, Filmmaker, Critic
Paul is best known for his screenwriting association with Martin Scorsese, for whom he wrote films like "Taxi Driver", "The Raging Bull" and "The Last Temptation of Christ".
A screenwriting legend Paul, has also directed films including "Mishima: Life in four chapters".
His book on the style of three filmmakers, "Transcendental Style in Film: Ozu, Bresson, Dreyer" is regarded highly among film scholars.
Aruna Vasudev,

Aruna Vasudev is the Founder-President of NETPAC (Network for the Promotion of Asian Cinema), Founder-Director of Cinefan, Festival of Asian Cinema, (now Osian’s-Cinefan Festival of Asian and Arab Cinema) and Founder-Editor of Cinemaya, The Asian Film Quarterly (now Osian’s-Cinemaya). She is a Trustee of the Public Service Broadcasting Trust, India and of the newly constituted Forum for Art Beyond Borders, India; was conferred France’s top cultural award, the Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres; and the Star of Italian Solidarity. She is the author of two books on Indian Cinema; editor and co-editor of several books on cinema and television, including Being & Becoming: The Cinemas of Asia and co-editor of Modernity and Nationality in Vietnamese Cinema by Ngo Phuong Lan (2007); and has been a jury member in Cannes (Camera d’Or), Locarno, Thessaloniki, Singapore, Fajr (Tehran), Karlovy Vary, Istanbul, Antalya, Hawaii, Jeonju (Korea), Tallinn (Estonia) and many more
Sudhir Nandgaonkar,
President, FIPRESCI, India
Sudhir Nandgaonkar is president of International Federation of Film Critics (FIPRESCI), India and general secretary of Federation of Film Societies of India. He is the founding artistic director of MAMI's International Film Festival, Mumbai and founder director of Third Eye Festival of Asian Cinema, Mumbai. He has been on the FIPRESCI jury of the 60th Cannes Film Festival apart from various other festival in India and abroad.
Anjum Rajabali
Noted Screenwriter, Mumbai
Anjum Rajabali is one of the most respected independent, professional scriptwriter working in the Hindi film industry for more than a decade. Apart from writing features independently, he has also collaborated on scripts with some well-known names in the film industry including Govind Nihalani and Rajkumar Santoshi. Films based on his scripts include Ghulam (1998), Kachche Dhaage (1999), The Legend of Bhagat Singh (2002), Drohkaal (1995 — co-written), China Gate (1998 — co-written), and Pukar (2000 — co-written). He has also received formal training in scriptwriting under the Professional Program in Screenwriting Online at the UCLA, in 1998-99. He is the Course Consultant for the one-year Certificate Course in Screenplay Writing at the Film and Television Institute of India, Pune and also heads screenwriting department at Whistling Woods Academy.
