Jodha Akbar may be awarded Best Film.
Jodha Akbar may be awarded Best Film. But best actor award should go to Amir Khan, there is no doubt about it. Perhaps there is any pre-conceived notion about Amir among your Juries. Hritik doesnot deserve an Award. Atlast Filmfare Award has become a matter of controversy.

SRK is facing credit crunch So he faild this year to by Award and Amitabh to.

Raj! There's another discussion point on this under the forums, under Bollywood and this is perhaps where one can discuss individual views on various topics, one of them being to what you have mentioned.
Regarding Hrithik's acting, I think he deserved it.

It is curious to see how people react.
It is curious to see how people react. Let all the commenters prepare comparative charts for the best actor award category. The reason for Amir getting the award should be competitive and strong enough (keeping in mind Amir played the same role that Surya acted three years previous to the Hindi version release.)
The halo behind an actors' head, the
The halo behind an actors' head, the superhuman preparation for a role (that really becomes of little use in the film), pre-release hype -- in a nutshell, the religion of the hero (seeing the hero as a hero, above anything else, let alone an actor) -- can not be the criteria for judging an actor's performance in a film. Maybe Hrithik did not deserve the award. But, so did not Aamir.
I agree. I was not impressed with
I agree. I was not impressed with Aamir's acting at all.

Hi!
I saw the film fare awards 2008 but i am still wondering that Aamir khan had not been awarded as a best actor of the year for Ghajini. Do not know whats all this rubbish.
Jodha Akbar could be awarded as "Best Film" of the year. But best actor award should go to Aamir Khan only, there is no doubt about it at all yaar..............
Best,

It can not be like that. Aamir Khan
It can not be like that. Aamir Khan deserver the award bla bla bla bla. Jot down the points in a comparative chart. Maybe you are an Aamir fan, but that does not mean everyone has to be. For example, I am nobody's fan in Bollywood. I prefer South Indian actors. But, again I am not their fan too. Fan < fanatics. A fanatic frenzy should not be extolled.
Aamir Khan made an eight pack for the
Aamir Khan made an eight pack for the film. He worked extremely hard for the kind of shape he got into. That was only one side of the role -- a minor side. He is a very fine actor no doubt. But, why should he be awarded for an average role in his career?
It reminds me of parallels. Soumitro Chatterjee, known to the world as Ray's hero, has given wonderful performances in films after films, throughout his career. But, he received the only national award in 2007 for a very average role in a pathetic film. Things like this are really hilariously ludicrous. Do you Aamir fans want him to be an object of fun for the posterity? His eight packs were an achievement. but, Ghajini is a repeat film, and not at all well-crafted. In South too, people did not take the original Ghajini so seriously.

This is high time DearCinema sought a chance to interview Aamir Khan and to know his personal opinion of the role he played in ghajini. May not be now, but two months hence we can try something like that. Can't we? Bikas?

See, i did not say any bla bla bla and bla.............. in my comments.
You just asked me my comments so i just gave that. After this i did not ask your rubbish comments in return. If you have taken my comments in kind of your rubbish bla bla bla............., then its not my fault at all.
Anyways i wish no further comments from your side now.

To all DearCinema is not a platform
To all
DearCinema is not a platform to fight. I said I am nobody's fan. And I personally did not ask anyone to comment, nor did I target or pinpoint anyone in general, in the comment-box.
Bikas? Did you ask people to comment? Anyone can comment in dearcinema. But, no one can command someone else stop on further commenting. That is fascism (fascism = forcible suppression of opposition in an egocentric way; curtsy : Webster's Collegiate Dictionary Eleventh Edition.)
Again, I'm not targeting anyone. I read everyone's comments. I expressed my opinion. Anyone can express here. I wrote bla bla bla (instead of ...) This is meant to be an ellipsis. Is it going to be a discussion on rhetoric now?
Unless there is a direct personal attack DC does not erase or stop anyone. Was this a personal attack to anyone?
I'm asking this to all DearCinema readers.

Anirban, I don't think that this is a personal attack on anyone and as far as I can see, you have not targeted anyone at all and as you have mentioned quite correctly, everyone is allowed to express their views.
